What we do @ Birth Essence.

We work with women and families to enrich the birthing experience!

How we help

Your Birth. Your Experience. We're just a helping hand.

Birth Essence is a place where women and their partners can feel supported, empowered, and better informed to make the best decisions for achieving the type of birth that they want. Whether you need a birth doula, help with breastfeeding, or a baby wearing demonstration, I am here to help!

Breastfeeding Counseling

When a mother decides to breastfeed her baby, she is, by nature, giving her baby the very best nutrition specifically designed for her baby. The closeness and bond the mother creates with her baby during their breastfeeding journey is unmeasurable. But not all breastfeeding journeys come with ease. Sometimes, breastfeeding comes with challenges. Having the proper guidance and support is critical for the success of the breastfeeding relationship. When you hire Birth Essence as part of your support team, you will gain the confidence needed to achieve the breastfeeding relationship you desire. We provide in-home, phone, and email support. Don’t hesitate to call us during those late night feeds because we know that support at any hour is important.

“A newborn baby has only three demands. They are warmth in the arms of its mother, food from her breasts, and security in the knowledge of her presence. Breastfeeding satisfies all three.”
- Grantly Dick-Read
